My name is Barbara Marie
I live in Manilva, Spain, which is very close to Gibraltar, and I am from the UK.
I was trained as an Artist at Manchester College of Art & Design, and have had a varied career in Fashion. For the past 20 years, I have been able to dedicate more of my time to painting and in particular to my favourite subjects of Animals and Pet Portraits. My favourite mediums are pastels, pencils, and oil paints. I paint detailed hand drawn portraits, aiming to capture the personality of the subject.
I use the best quality pastels and pastel pencils on pastelmat card or board.
